Oppo Reno 8 Now Official - Comes In Three Variations, Including Generated SD 7 Gen 1, MariSilicon X Chip

 


Oppo today introduced their latest series of smartphones under the Reno brand, namely Oppo Reno 8. A total of 3 phone variations were introduced under this Reno 8 series, namely Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro and also Oppo Reno 8 Pro+.



The Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro come with a 6.43-inch screen, offering a perforated screen in the corner for positioning the selfie camera. It uses an AMOLED type panel on it. The regular version offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, while the pro version is up to 120Hz.


The Oppo Reno 8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip, while the Reno 8 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.


For the Reno 8 Pro+, it comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a center hole to position the selfie camera and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also powered by the latest Dimensity 8100-Max chip.



All three models come with memory options of up to 12GB of RAM, and storage of up to 256GB. Complementing it is also a 4500mAh capacity battery with fast charging support up to 80W.


In terms of camera, the Oppo Reno 8 uses a rear tri-camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and is equipped with two 2MP sensors. For both Pro and Pro+ models, it comes with an additional 8MP sensor on the back for ultra-wide recording.


All three are also equipped with MariSilicon X chips for image processing. Oppo includes a fingerprint scanner on the screen of this device for biometric authentication.


For now, this new series of smartphones has been launched in China-and is expected to be expanded to other countries soon.
