Rolls-Royce Boat Tail II Sold At RM 132 Million A

A few days ago a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe became the most expensive car ever sold at a price of RM630 million. High prices are achieved because this car is a classic that is the dream of automotive enthusiasts.

For those who missed the bid to buy the car, maybe they can buy a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail II which sells for $ 30 million (~ RM132 million) each. The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail II is one of three Boat Tails to be released by Roll Royce making it a very limited edition car.

This car was actually a special order from a businessman involved in the pearl sales industry. The color of the vehicle, for example, is taken from four pearl samples given by the owner for inspiration. The boat -like back panel uses durable Royal Oak wood.

It is customized with a picnic set placed in the boot compartment of the car complete with special mounts to place umbrellas to avoid sun glare. The car now enters the personal collection of the owner who ordered it. In a matter of years or decades if it is later sold it could possibly hit the same price as the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe of the day period.
