The Huawei Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro were launched in China as a continuation of the GT 6 series. Both come with a more modern design, brighter displays, and improved health features compared to the previous generation.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 comes in two size options, 46 mm with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen (466 × 466 pixels, PPI 317, brightness 3000 nits) and 41 mm with a 1.32-inch AMOLED (466 × 466 pixels, PPI 352, brightness 3000 nits). The front is made of stainless steel, while the back uses a high-performance fiber composite. Strap options include multi-colored durable rubber and composite vegan leather.
The watch is equipped with a variety of sensors including optical heart rate, temperature, barometer, gyroscope, and magnetic. It is compatible with HarmonyOS 2.0, Android 9.0 and iOS 13.0, making it easy to use across platforms. In terms of activities, it supports over 110 sports modes such as cycling, trail running and badminton. For health, it offers TruSleep 5.0, HRV, emotion monitoring, women's health, heart, blood sugar and high altitude functions.
Protection is provided through a 5 ATM and IP69 rating, suitable for shallow swimming but not for sauna or diving. In terms of battery, the 46 mm model can last up to 21 days of light use or 51 hours in trail running mode, while the 41 mm model offers up to 14 days of light use or 32 hours in the same mode.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro uses a combination of titanium alloy and nano-technology ceramic with a 1.47-inch Sapphire glass that can reach a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It supports over 110 sports modes including skiing, cycling, trail running and golf, and is equipped with Sunflower positioning system with AI-XDR for more accurate GPS.
In addition to sports functions, this watch also offers health features such as ECG analysis, coronary heart disease research, HRV, sleep, emotion and blood glucose monitoring. Protection comes with a 5 ATM and IP69 rating that allows free diving activities up to 40-meters according to the EN13319 standard.
In terms of battery, the Watch GT 7 Pro can last up to 21 days of light use, 12 days of normal use, 7 days with AOD active, and 51 hours in trail running mode. It is also compatible with HarmonyOS, Android and iOS, and supports smart functions such as Alipay payment, StarFlash car key, Bluetooth calling and voice recording.
