Almost Half Of Businesses In Japan Still Depend On Internet Explorer

Microsoft this week has officially ended support for the Internet Explorer web browser - prompting many to switch to other web browsers, including using IE Mode on the Edge to stay with applications developed for Internet Explorer.

Whatever it is, in Japan, it is seen the situation is quite different.

Nearly half of businesses still rely on the Internet Explorer web browser. This is because of the system used by the client in making reservations, in addition to employee management.

Even various notices related to pensions and retirement still need to use the Internet Explorer web browser.

With the cessation of support and offerings, many have now started switching to the use of IE Mode on the Edge. Perhaps with the full termination of Internet Explorer, we will see Japan finally switch to even more modern services.
