Asus has brought its newest line of ROG gaming laptops that use the AMD Ryzen 6000 processor, and claims to be the first brand to present a gaming laptop with this new line of processors.
This line of gaming laptops is intended not only for gamers such as mainstream gamers, esports, or game streamers, but also for content creators because of their qualified specifications for heavy work, such as video editing.
"The ROG lineup of gaming laptops powered by AMD's latest processors is here for everything from mainstream gamers, e-sports gamers, game streamers, to content creators," said Jimmy Lin, Asus Regional Director Southeast Asia, at the launch event on Monday. (20/6/2022).
The series of laptops released include the TUF Gaming A15, ROG Strix G15 and G17, ROG Flow X13, ROG Zephyrus G15 and G14, and the most luxurious is the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16.
Not only presenting laptops powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors, ASUS ROG also provides its newest line of laptops with a series of features and technologies that can deliver better performance and gaming experiences.
Features and technologies such as PCIe SSD 4.0 storage and USB 4.0 ports, use of DDR5 memory and MUX Switch, to the presence of ROG Nebula HDR screen technology make ROG's newest line of gaming laptops promised to be more powerful for all activities.
Ryzen 6000 is built using the Zen 3+ core architecture, and is equipped with an RDNA 2 integrated graphics chip, which allows for more powerful and efficient performance so that users of the latest ASUS gaming laptops can still access powerful graphics performance without having to drain excess battery power.
All of the latest ASUS gaming laptops powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors have been equipped with very complete connectivity features. Ports such as USB 3.2 Type-C and Type-A, HDMI 2.1, up to 3.5mm combo audio jack.
The USB 3.2 Type-C port in the latest ASUS gaming laptop lineup also supports the DisplayPort 1.2 feature and USB Power Delivery. Both allow the USB Type-C port to be used as a display output as well as charging facilities via a USB Type-C adapter or even a power bank.
Especially for the Zephyrus Duo 16, Asus has provided it with new technology. Namely ROG Nebula HDR, which is claimed to be a new standard for gaming laptop screens. This screen has Pantone Validated Display, TUV Rheinland, and Dolby Vision certifications.
Gaming laptop screens that use ROG Nebula HDR such as the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 are certain to carry panels that have a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1100 nits brightness level, are equipped with adaptive sync features, and have a response time of 3ms.
Basically, Nebula HDR is a mini LED panel, equipped with 512 dimming zones. As a result, this panel can display HDR content with Vesa Display HDR 1000 certification.
