CHKL: No Permission For Electric Scooter Activities In Dataran Merdeka

 


Kuala Lumpur City Hall is now reminding consumers not to use electric scooters on public roads, except in areas that have been gazetted.




In parallel, today DBKL confiscated electric scooters parked at Dataran Merdeka. DBKL says Dataran Merdeka is a public road that is not gazetted for electric scooter activities.






The government has also previously issued a directive that no activities involving electric scooters on public roads, and only allowed in areas that have been gazetted.




CHKL said no permission was issued for electric scooter activities in Dataran Merdeka.




People are reminded to always be vigilant and follow various instructions to prevent any unwanted things from happening.
