Rapid KL is now offering a RM150 Monthly Rapid Pass digitally through the TNG eWallet app. With this pass, unlimited travel for 30 days can be made without limits including LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT Sunway, Rapid KL buses and MRT feeder buses.
The Monthly Rapid Pass is open to everyone including tourists and foreign workers. This is different from the My50 pass which is only offered to Malaysian citizens. It can be purchased directly in the TNG eWallet app using an NFC smartphone without having to queue at the counter. For those who do not have a phone with NFC, the Monthly Rapid Pass can still be purchased at the counter.
The purchasing process is easy by accessing the Transport tab in the TNG eWallet app. Select Rapid KL Pass and then Monthly Rapid. Next, scan your TNG NFC card or TNG NFC charm and then make a payment of RM150. Scan your TNG NFC card and TNG NFC charm again to activate the pass. Like My50, the Monthly Rapid Pass still requires a physical card or charm to use.
