Face ID On iPhone Can Finally Be Used At Landscape Positioning Via iOS 16

 

After Face ID was introduced in 2017 via the iPhone X. Since then users have asked Apple to support unlocking at landscape position. We personally published an article that Face ID support in landscape position should exist as it has been supported on Huawei Mate 20 as well as iPad Pro for so long.

This morning at the WWDC 2022 event, Apple quietly confirmed Face ID will be able to be used in landscape position on devices running iOS 16. These are some of the exciting features Apple introduced on this year’s latest iPhone operating system.
