At the day -long WWDC 2022 event, Apple has announced iOS 16 as the latest operating system for the iPhone. There is no doubt that there are many interesting features such as lock screen customization, can hide videos and photos in Photos, messages can be pulled and edited in iMessage, Face ID can be used landscape and more. But in fact it is just an Android for Apple.

As confirmed by Apple, the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPhone SE (Gen-1), iPhone 7/7 Plus are the five iPhones that will not receive the iOS 16 update. For the iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X, even these three iPhones supports iOS 16 - not all features can be used. Many of the new features and functions require at least an Apple A12 Bionic chip.

The feature of scanning drug labels into Health using an iPhone camera requires an iPhone XR and XS at a minimum.
Live Captions, on the other hand, is a feature of generating text transcriptions from videos that requires an iPhone 11, an iPad with an A12 Bionic chip, or a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip.
The background blur effect in the picture can be selected as well as making the blur effect look more realistic requires iPhone 13 and above.
Video recording in a more beautiful and accurate Cinematic mode also requires an iPhone 13 and above only.
