During the WWDC 2022 event, Apple has launched two new MacBooks, the MacBook Air with M2 chip and also the MacBook Pro 13 ″ which is the same as before but powered by M2 chip. Immediately after the event, there were reports that TSMC would start production of the M2 Pro chip with a 3nm design by the end of the year.
Ming-Chi Kuo, who is famous for his analysis and information about Apple recently, claimed that Apple in 2023 will probably offer a MacBook 15. It will begin production in the first half of 2023 and launch will begin in the second quarter of 2023.
This 15-inch MacBook will come with a choice of Apple M2 chip with 35W charger and Apple M2 Pro chip with 67W charger. According to him, there is still no word on whether the 12-inch MacBook will be produced or not. Also not sure if this MacBook is in the new category or the Pro model.
As we reported earlier as well, Apple will not only be coming up with a 15-inch size MacBook. But an iPad with a 14-inch size is also likely to be produced.
