Malaysia Expected To Face New Wave Of Covid-19 Earlier

The Health Minister now shared that Malaysia is expected to face a new wave of Covid-19 sooner than previously expected. Previously, it was expected to happen in about two or three months.

This new partnership is in line with the increase to over 2000 cases reported in recent days.

The Health Minister also emphasized that the new partnership was not to create panic, but to enable the public to be more vigilant and take preventive measures covering various aspects.

It is also reminded that although it has entered the transition phase, Covid-19 is not over yet. People in some categories such as the elderly, or having a chronic illness are encouraged to take up immunity through booster vaccine doses.
