Mesut Ozil Wants To Be An Esports Athlete If He Retire


 Mezut Ozil, a former football player at well-known clubs such as Arsenal and Real Madrid, is expected to focus on esports and become a professional gamer. This was revealed by the agent, related to his activities after retiring.

"He will go into esports, play alone and maybe become an esports athlete. To be honest, he is very good at Fortnite, and I think one day I will not be surprised if he is competing there," said Dr Erkut Sogut, Ozil's agent, as reported by us. from Dexerto, Monday (20/6/2022).


Sogut revealed that Ozil himself has an esports team called M10 Esports. This German national football athlete, also has a Gaming House (GH) as well as several pro players in FIFA and Fortnite games.




According to him, the 33-year-old player could hang up his shoes and switch to a keyboard and mouse. This is likely to happen, once his contract expires in a few years later with the Turkish club, Fenerbahce.
