WhatsApp is now introducing a new privacy feature to users, offering more control and limits for who can see profile pictures, “Last Seen” and even shared WhatsApp Status.
This feature has previously been tested in beta, and now WhatsApp has started introducing it to all users around the world.
Now, when you go to the settings page on WhatsApp, you can choose who can see your profile picture, Status and even your “Last Seen” - either open to all, only peers, or not visible to anyone.
You can also choose to limit it to a select few users.
For those of you who use WhatsApp, can make changes to your settings today by going to the menu, Account> Privacy today.
