The use of teleconferencing applications is still maintained even though the world is almost back to pre -pandemic levels. It is much easier, does not require a two -face meeting which is quite wasteful and saves time because the meeting can be done directly from the work desk. After two years of using teleconferencing, many are realizing there are many shortcomings that make it still not a true replacement for two -face meetings.
Microsoft today announced several updates that will hopefully make the use of Teams more comfortable in the near future. First and foremost is audio quality improvement where artificial intelligence is used to reduce buzz, improve poor audio quality and make it easier for two individuals to speak simultaneously.
Teams ’artificial intelligence system is trained to listen to 3000 hours of audio to enable it to perform the best audio settings depending on different situations. A further improvement is that the background noise cancellation feature has also been done.
Next the quality of the video presented will also be improved to look sharper and smoother. We have all attended teleconferencing sessions where the video we tried to present was so blocked that it was difficult to watch. Finally, the feature of automatically changing the video description can also be used.
