Nothing Phone (1) is the first smartphone from Nothing, a startup company founded by Carl Pei that is famous for its OnePlus devices before. The device is certified to be a premium mid -range device with recycled aluminum and plastic construction. The uniqueness of this device lies in the transparent design on the back and also the LED system that looks unique.
Device specifications and selling prices are still a question mark for the public. While the specifications are still a mystery, over 150,000 people have registered interest and some have even asked to own this device up to a price of tens of thousands of Ringgit.
91Mobiles has recently revealed the full specifications of this device as well as the selling price for the market in India. Nothing Phone (1) is seen to be likely to come in three variations, namely 8/128 GB at a price of INR31,000 (around ~ RM1727), 8/256 GB at a price of INR32,000 (around ~ RM1783) and 12/256 GB at a price of INR36 , 000 (around ~ RM2006).
The device is rumored to use a 6.55-inch 120Hz OLED screen, powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ chip that is matched with memory of up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with virtual memory support and UFS 3.1 internal storage reaching 256GB. The dual-camera on the back will probably use a 50+16 Megapixel sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. It will come with a 4500mAh battery with 45W charging support as well as 5W reverse wireless charging and runs Android 12 -based Nothing OS.
Currently, this device can only be purchased in European countries such as the UK, Germany and even India. Sales in Malaysia have not been confirmed yet.
