After about a week of winning the case against Amber Heard in a libel trial, actor Johnny Depp created a TikTok account.
Joonny's first post on TikTok on Tuesday (7/6) thanked those who had supported him during the trial.
He wrote a touching message for his fans and supporters that has survived to this day, especially the six weeks of drama surrounding the defamation trial against Amber Heard.
"To all the loyal, steadfast and worthy supporters. We have been together, seen it all together. We have walked the same path, doing the right thing together, all because you care," wrote Johnny Depp.
"Now, we will move forward together. You are, always, my master and once I can say nothing but thank you. So thank you. My love and respect, JD," he continued.
We monitored that on Wednesday (8/6) afternoon WIB, Johnny Depp's account had already gained 7.3 million followers, of course this number will continue to increase in the future. His first video post has garnered 4.2 million likes with more than 224,000 comments.
Johnny Depp creating a TikTok account is no surprise. Around six weeks into Depp's trial against Heard, many fans voiced their support for the Pirates of the Caribbean star via TikTok.

As is well known, Depp sued Heard in response to an opinion the 36-year-old actress wrote for The Washington Post in December 2018 about being a victim of domestic violence.
The jury on Wednesday (1/6) then ruled Heard had defamed Depp. Thus, the actor was rewarded USD 15 million in compensation.
But the jury asked Amber Heard to pay only USD 10.35 million due to the indemnity limit that applies under Virginia law.
