Redmi has recently been active in selling monitors. Just a few months ago, they launched a curved 30-inch monitor with a refresh rate of 200Hz. Recently in China, they come with a 27-inch monitor for productivity.
This monitor comes with a 4K screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with support for global dimming. It uses a flat type screen that supports viewing angles up to 178 degrees, DisplayHDR 400 display, 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3. It also comes with blue light protection for the eyes of the user.
It uses a USB-C connection that can support laptop connection to monitor as well as 65W charging. Also available are HDMI 2.1 TMDS (HDMI 2.0) port, 3.5mm audio jack port and 2x USB-A 3.0. The monitor also has a special mode for connection to the MacBook via the OSD menu.
The monitor also allows users to change the height, change the position either vertically or horizontally and the viewing angle can also be modified.
The Redmi 4K 27-Inch monitor is sold in China at a price of RMB 2,299, which is around RM1500, which can be said to be quite premium for the Redmi.
