Sabah will be given high priority in telecommunications development

 

Malaysia's Ministry of Communications and Multimedia has now stated that assurances which high priority will be given to Sabah in the design of the country's telecommunications development.

According to the minister, Sabah is a very rich country with creativity and the ability to present various creative industry works.

Previously, in 2020, it was shared that Sabah, Sarawak and Kelantan were among the countries with the lowest 4G coverage.

The Kingdom, under designation, provided large amounts of funds in telecommunications development for various countries, including over RM1 billion under the Windows and PoP programs.

Several methods were also tested in the delivery of internet networks in remote areas, including using satellites. In addition to the ministry, telecommunications companies such as Celcom are also paying attention to the construction of the network in Sabah for this year.
