Microsoft is now reminding users of the Windows 8.1 operating system, where support for it will end on January 10, 2023.
Microsoft also stressed that no further support will be introduced after that date. For organizations, you are encouraged to move to a newer operating system. Use of Windows 8.1 after that date may expose your device to security risks.
As a transition, you can migrate to Windows 10 or Windows 11. For those of you who choose to migrate to Windows 10, please note, that support for the operating system will end in October 2025.
