Apple Reportedly Terminated Jony Ive's Service For Product Design

 When Sir Jony Ive left Apple in 2019 to open LoveFrom - his own design firm, Apple was already his earliest customer. He was involved in the design of the new MacBook as well as the Project Titan car. But according to a report by The New York Times today, Apple has already terminated a negotiation deal with the company LoveFrom.

The contract between Apple and LoveFrom has reportedly expired and Apple has not renewed the contract to use Jony Ive's services in producing product designs. In the same report, some Apple executives were also allegedly unhappy with the payment Ive received for simply giving an opinion.

At the same time Ive also said to be hiring Apple staff for LoveFrom which is seen as direct competition. Apple and LoveFrom have not yet issued any official statements on the New York Time report.
