Carl Pei Confirms That Nothing Phone (1) Uses Snapdragon 778G+ Chip

No longer a foreign thing, the Nothing Phone (1) is a middle class device. It’s a device that looks likely to be a new benchmark for a new premium mid -range device.

The uniqueness of this device lies in the design as well as the LED system. Previously it was leaked that this device will be powered with a Snapdragon 778G+chip. Now Carl Pei has confirmed to Input Mag that Nothing Phone (1) will be generated with this chip.

According to Carl, the chip is used because it offers good specs through an eight-core 4x Cortex-A78 + 4x Cortex-A55 configuration, Adreno 642L GPU and X53 5G modem. It is also a chip that has no serious heating problems as well as saves in power consumption. Plus Carl, this chip also has the wireless charging support and reverse wireless charging they want.

Nothing Phone (1) will be launched on July 12 next. It is seen to have already received many requests with hundreds of thousands registering interest. The device will come with a choice of black or white colors, memory up to 12GB of RAM and internal storage up to 256GB. The leaked sale price states that it will be sold at a starting price of around RM1700.
