Chromebooks have received updates that will bring a number of additional productivity features that will make them more compatible for everyday use. The first feature that will be provided is the ability to edit videos in-built through the Google Photos application. There are templates by theme to make videos easier to produce.
The artificial intelligence can also suggest scenes in the video that might be taken and also insert static images from the Photos storage into the video timeline easily. True Tone filters can also be applied to videos to ensure that individual skin tones are the same as in the real world.
For those who need a more professional editing application, the LumaFusion application will finally be available on Chromebok in the near future.
The Gallery application will have the ability to edit PDF documents natively. Entering words and dropping signatures can be done in-built without having to download another app. Next, the Screencast application allows screen video recording to be done complete with annotations. Then the Cursive application makes handwritten notes using the stylus easier to organize better in Chromebooks.
Lastly, the Chromebook launcher is also enhanced with theme and background customization options to highlight the user's personality. This was previously announced along with Phone Hub for better nearby smartphone control as well as Nearby Share for easier file transfer from Android devices.
