Previously, we’ve reported that the Apple AirPods Pro 2 will likely use USB-C compared to previous AirPods Pro that use a Lightning connection. The new generation of AirPods Pro is also rumored to come with support to monitor the user's health with the ability to detect the user's pulse and read the user's body temperature.
The latest from Mark Gurman via Power On, Apple will most likely not include a pulse detection and user temperature reading feature on the AirPods Pro 2. This feature is though already considered by Apple, but it will probably only be implemented on other generation AirPods instead of the AirPods Pro 2 is expected to launch this year.
A set of wireless earphones with pulse tracking features as well as the ability to monitor the health of the user is not something new. Samsung once came up with a TWS that has this feature, Amazfit as well. Yet it lacks good performance as well as a compact size.
In my opinion, if Apple wants to come up with AirPods with this feature it will probably be introduced under the new series or on Beats first. Anyway, let's just wait for further developments on this new generation of AirPods Pro.
