Intel Core i5-13600K Benchmark Score Seen 50 Percent Faster Than AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Intel is expected to introduce their 13th generation Intel Raptor Lake series of processing chips soon, and it seems that a number of their latest processing chips are currently being tested in the labs.

Recently, the Geekbench benchmark score for the Intel Core i5-13600K processing chip has been leaked on the web arena. This processing chip comes with 14 physical cores and 20 power threads and has a minimum speed of around 5GHz.

Since this is a K-series processor chip that can be overclocked, it is not surprising that this processor chip is seen to be able to get such speed if it uses a suitable cooling fan.

What's interesting here is the benchmark scores shown for both the single-threaded (2012) and multi-threaded scores (16,054) which both beat the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor chip, one of AMD's more powerful processor chips when it launched around two years ago.

In fact, when compared to the most powerful processing chip in the AMD Ryzen 5000 series, which is the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, this Intel Core i5 Raptor Lake processing chip is seen to be only slightly slower in the Geekbench multi-threaded benchmark test.

Intel is expected to announce this series of processor chips soon, but will probably only start selling them around early next year, with the same support for LGA 1700 motherboards used in conjunction with Intel's 12th generation Alder Lake processor chips.
