Redmi K50S Pro is predicted to carry three rear cameras. The main camera is of course 200 MP, which is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front there is a 20 MP camera for selfies, as quoted from Android Authority, Thursday (28/7/2022).
The Redmi K50S series will follow the Redmi K50 trio that was launched first. Previously, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro in China, which used the Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 chips, respectively.
While the Redmi K50 Gaming comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So technically, Redmi K50S and K50S PRO will be the successors with bigger batteries, newer chipsets, and higher resolution cameras.
Just like the rest of the Redmi K50 line, the Redmi K50S Pro is likely to be an exclusive phone for the Chinese market. But there is a possibility that Xiaomi will release it globally under the Poco brand.
Xiaomi is known to frequently launch phones in the Redmi K line globally under a new name and under other lines. For example the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition which was released globally under the name Poco F4 GT
