Algorocks and Simpleton, developers from Malang City, East Java, developed an educational fun game, entitled Grammarian Ltd. Players can play it on several platforms, such as PC and mobile.
Adib Toriq, CEO and founder of Algorocks, said the reason for bringing this game. He and his team admitted that they fall into the category of people who also find it difficult when learning grammar.
"We can learn reading and listening with fun, by watching movies, listening to music, or reading books. But not for grammar," said Adib to us, Saturday (16/7/2022).
Therefore, Adib and his team decided to create Grammarian Ltd. He did this, so that the learning process of grammar would be more fun, through video games.
According to his explanation, this game itself tells a world where all writing must have good grammar. Now interestingly, the main character in the game, does not have the ability to arrange grammar well.
Then, when he applied for a job as a janitor at a grammar validation company, something unexpected happened. Files from his job application letter were mixed up, and he became a grammar validator (the section on checking grammar).
For gamers who are curious about the storyline, gameplay, and various content at Grammarian Ltd, you can try it right away. This game is already available on PC via Steam, as well as mobile on the Google Play Store and App Store.
Developers also offer it not for free, so players must set aside funds to be able to bring it. Approximately, the price offered by Algorocks and Simpleton is Rp. 70 thousand.
Then, when asked about his intention to make a game with a similar theme like Grammarian Ltd, Adib said he had the plan. However, it is not yet known when it will start developing it.
"We have a desire to make games about entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and problem solving. But we don't know when we can do it," Adib concluded.
