NASA is now sharing plans to bring back at least 30 miles from Mars to Earth by 2023.
For now, the Perseverance Rover has collected about 11 different rocks and samples on the planet, and will continue to collect several new samples. And to bring the sample back to Earth, NASA will launch a special flight around 2028 to the red planet. This special flight called the "Sample Retrievel Lander" will be responsible for successfully bringing samples from the planet to Earth.
If all goes well, we may see a total of 30 samples from the planet Mars brought to Earth around 2033. In addition, it is also expected to bring home a large amount of data that helps humans better understand the neighboring planet.
