Singapore Wants To Develop Automated Ports - Equipped With Drones And Self -Driven Vehicles

With the world back in operation as usual, one of the locations that experienced extraordinary bustle was the port section. Most recently, Singapore announced plans to modernize their ports.

Through Singapore's plans, they want to invest S $ 20 billion, which is around RM63 billion in developing modern and automated ports by 2040.

This modern port will meet the demand and capacity of the supply chain. In addition, it will also use technology in making management more efficient, including the use of self -driving vehicles in management, in addition to the use of drones.

The use of technology is also expected to be able to cover the problem of labor shortages at the global level. In addition, the movement of cargo will also be communicated with the supply chains in the management and avoid experiencing any supply chain problems.

With this move as well, it will bring about a drastic shift over the use of manuals for cargo management - in addition to the lengthy and time -wasting process these days.
