In November last year, Spotify reinstated lyrics display support on their music streaming platform. This is the first time it is supported, since the collaboration with MusixMatch was terminated in 2016. The feature is supported on Spotify on smartphones, tablets, desktops and even consoles.
As before, the Spotify lyrics display is from MusixMatch. Spotify is now expanding support for displaying lyrics on Nest -connected devices. Google Nest Hub users can now karaoke with favorite songs directly on the smart display.
Use voice commands to play a favorite song, tap on the lyrics icon screen and the song lyrics will start to display. Musical notes will also be displayed when the instrument is played without vocals. This lyrics display feature is offered to both free and paid users.
