AirAsia Pocket is a digital wallet that was introduced by AirAsia not long ago, to make it easier to make payments, financial transfers, and buy various things under the AirAsia ecosystem.
After introducing it last June, now AirAsia is seen to have made some changes to the top-up method on AirAsia Pocket.
From August 2022, AirAsia Pocket only allows top-up to the digital wallet using BigPay cards only.
In addition, it is also seen that AirAsia Pocket has removed the feature of transferring money to other users, and only focused on top-up and payment features.
It is not known why this was changed. This may make it difficult for people to add value, or want to use the digital wallet, unless they want to buy products or services under the AirAsia ecosystem.
