Ambank is now seen to have published a dedicated page on their official website, stating that Apple Pay has now arrived in Malaysia.
Through Apple Pay, users can link credit or debit cards to Apple devices, such as iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac. Next, users can make payments directly using the device without removing the card or wallet.
Ambank also provides a number of special promotions for users, including a cashback offer for the first purchase using Apple Pay.
For now, the site still does not offer full info, and there are some unclear info - such as RM50 cash back, but limited to RM20. In addition, the FAQ page can no longer be accessed. With this publication, it also shows that Apple Pay will be launched in Malaysia this week.
Apple itself still hasn't updated their Apple Pay offer page for now.
