Apple Pay Now Official – Supports Maybank, Ambank, Std Chartered Credit Cards; Maybank Debit Card

Apple today has officially introduced Apple Pay non-cash payment support in Malaysia. With this step, users can link a selected credit or debit card to an Apple account, and then use a device such as an iPhone or Apple Watch to make payments at the terminal.

With this move, it takes the wallet-free lifestyle one step further, and users only need to carry Apple devices everywhere, including to pay. Apple Pay can be used on any payment terminal that supports wave payments.

In terms of card support on Apple Pay, it now supports credit and debit cards issued by Maybank, Ambank credit cards, and even Standard Chartered credit cards. Users will still be able to enjoy the various rewards enjoyed through each card.

In addition to paying in physical stores, users can also make payments via Apple Pay at selected online stores. One of the platforms that supports it is Shopee, and Mac and iPad users can make payments using Apple Pay on it through the Safari web browser.

To start using it, Apple device users just need to add the selected card to Apple Wallet, and then use it to make payments in stores or online.
