Grab is now celebrating their 10th anniversary, and interestingly they also shared that they completed 10 billion trips on July 4, 2022.
When that figure was reached, a total of 108 trips were being made simultaneously – either food delivery, or ride-hailing services. In Malaysia, at that time, one of the food delivery men was on his way to a restaurant.
What's interesting is that, previously, Grab took around five years to reach 1 billion trips. And it took them five years too to go from 1 billion trips to 10 billion trips.
Today, Grab is offered in 488 cities in 8 countries. In total, they traveled over 60 billion kilometers.
