Microsoft Now Offers Their Emojis in Open Source Form

Microsoft today announced that it has begun offering its 3D emojis as open source – allowing anyone to modify and use them in development, artwork and more.

For those who are not familiar, this emoji is already offered by Microsoft through Microsoft Teams. It offers a cheerful design, and also comes with Windows 11.

By offering it in the form of open source, it simultaneously opens up space for creators to use it and offers a number of modified variations of the emojis.

A total of 1,538 emojis are offered, and can be downloaded via Figma or GitHub starting today.
