Motorola launched their devices slowly. Last week the Motorola Razr and X30 Pro were launched with flagship chips, this morning they also launched the Motorola Edge with mid-range specifications.
It is the first device equipped with a Dimensity 1050 chip equipped with two Cortex-A78 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores paired with a Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. This puts it on par with the Snapdragon 695 chip.
Other specifications of the device are a 6.6″ OLED 144Hz screen, 8GB RAM memory, 256GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. Main camera 50MP wide angle with OIS, 13MP ultra wide angle and depth sensor. On the front, a 32MP sensor is used for the selfie camera.
The device is also equipped with a stereo audio system with Dolby Atmos. In addition, the body of the device passes the IP52 waterproof standard. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the screen. Although the Edge 2022 is a mid-range device, it supports 5G mmWave networks. The selling price of the device is still not announced at this time.
