BYD Sime Motors today launched the limited-edition BYD ATTO 3 Performance 2026 to commemorate the 69th Merdeka celebration. This model stands as the most powerful variant in the ATTO 3 series, boasting a combined system output of 330 kW and 560 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.
The Performance variant rounds out the ATTO 3 lineup in Malaysia, joining the Ultra and Premium models. It offers consumers more choice with All-Wheel Drive, a 74.88 kWh Blade Battery, and a driving range of up to 530 km (NEDC). The model combines powerful performance with the everyday practicality of an electric SUV. It supports DC fast charging up to 220 kW and utilizes a MacPherson Strut system with Dual-Ball Joints at the front and a Five-link Rear Suspension for driving stability and comfort.
In addition to the extra power, the ATTO 3 Performance comes with exclusive features such as a Windscreen Head-Up Display (W-HUD) and a built-in cooler box with both cooling and heating functions. It also retains the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) from the Premium variant, including Intelligent Speed Limit Control (ISLC), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), and Front Cross Traffic Brake (FCTB). Priced starting at RM149,800, the ATTO 3 Performance is offered with a launch package worth up to RM10,000.
Only 69 units of the limited-edition BYD ATTO 3 Performance 2026 will be available in Malaysia to mark the 69th Merdeka celebration. This new variant is now available for viewing and booking at official BYD showrooms. Customers are invited to visit their nearest showroom this weekend—from September 11 to 13, 2026—to experience the 2026 ATTO 3 Performance firsthand and place their orders.
To mark this launch, customers can choose between two exclusive packages: a Wall Charger with standard installation plus an overtrade offer of up to RM6,000, or a 6-year Standard Service Package with an overtrade offer of up to RM5,000. Every purchase also comes with complimentary accessories, including a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adapter and a Type 2 charging cable with a 3-pin plug.
