Oppo is back with its latest offering, the A7 Pro series, which is set to arrive in the Malaysian market soon. As always, Oppo devices come with fresh, attractive designs. This time, Oppo is introducing two new models: the A7 Pro and the A7 Pro Max. In this article, I will share details regarding the design of the Oppo A7 Pro series; further specifications will be covered in an upcoming review.

Design
The Oppo A7 Pro features a fresh, premium look, highlighted by a new camera module design that rivals flagship devices. It utilizes a plastic frame with a premium finish that is also fingerprint-resistant. Regarding color options, the Oppo A7 Pro comes in two choices: Shine Titanium and Surfing Blue.
The Shine Titanium color offers a minimalist, premium aesthetic that pairs easily with any style. Meanwhile, the Surfing Blue variant features a wave-like pattern on the back panel that looks stunning as it catches the light from different angles. This wavy design evokes a sense of freedom, allowing users to carry the device confidently in any situation.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max adopts a similar design approach to the Pro model but differs slightly in its camera module. It features a camera bar shaped like a smile, which enhances comfort when holding the device. It also includes a Multi-Color Breathing Light that can be used for notifications and other alerts.
The available color options include Lunar Black, which offers a simple, minimalist look. The Surfing Blue color is also offered for this model, providing a unique and distinctive style. In terms of durability, both models come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, making them rugged enough for extreme and rough usage. The screens on both models also feature touch controls designed for use in conditions such as heavy rain or while wearing gloves.
The button placement on both models remains consistent with most previous Oppo devices: the power and volume controls are on the right, while the left side is clean. A microphone is located at the top, whereas the USB-C port, SIM tray, and speaker are positioned at the bottom. Only the Pro Max model features an infrared blaster, which is placed on the back.
Another feature of the Oppo A7 Pro series is the 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie camera, offering a field of view as wide as 0.6x. This feature is highly useful for group selfies, as the ultra-wide angle allows everyone to fit into the frame. Previously exclusive to the Reno series, this feature has now been brought to the A7 Pro series as well.
