Oppo and OnePlus stopped selling their devices in the German market yesterday after they were found to be using Nokia's 5G technology without paying the required license. That's why Oppo and OnePlus stopped selling all devices while they deal with Nokia.
Previously Oppo and OnePlus signed an agreement using Nokia's cellular technology but the agreement period has expired. A new agreement was not signed because the two companies failed to reach an agreement. Nokia then successfully sued Oppo for continuing to use their 4G and 5G technology last July without paying for a license.
Although the device is no longer on sale, Oppo will continue to provide software and hardware support to existing customers. It is not known whether sales of Oppo and OnePlus devices will continue in Germany after this.
