Razer Now Has an Electric Scooter, Niu X Razer SQi Edition – Price Around RM6,600

 


Niu is a famous electric scooter brand in China that is still trying to penetrate the global market. They have many types of kick scooters such as Ninebot and Xiaomi and also have large size electric scooters.


In China, they have an electric scooter model that many like, the Niu SQi. Recently, Niu has collaborated with Razer for the Niu X Razer SQi Edition an electric scooter with design elements from Razer.



This scooter is built based on magnesium alloy construction material with a weight of around 50kg. This material is used to be easily lifted by the user and is believed to be strong and 75% lighter than normal alloys. The motor power is 400W with a speed that can reach up to 25km/h.



With one charge it can last up to 5 hours for a trip of up to 65km. A full charge will take up to 6 hours and the battery is removable and self-charged. The tire size is 17-inches, the Razer version has Razer's iconic green color accents.


This electric scooter uses an environment-friendly system and engine. It also has a security system with the use of smart locks. A screen is provided for the user to monitor speed and battery. There are applications that can be used that allow users to connect to Siri for voice control.



In China, Niu X Razer SQi Edition is sold at a price of RMB9,999 which is around RM6,600. Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan claims that this electric scooter is popular and sold out in just 2 seconds.
