This week, one of the hot topics is the need for food and goods delivery service riders under a new vocational license.
Now, the Minister of Transport is present to share more about some of the issues that have arisen, in addition to some reports saying that it is a GDL license and so on.
Explaining further, the need for this license is in an effort to regulate, in addition to making it easier if you want to channel help or any further matters. It is also emphasized that it is not a GDL license as reported by some media, but rather a new vocational license, which still does not have any name for it at the moment.
The Minister of Transport said the vocational license required is a very simple process, and more so registration is very easy. In fact, the cost is expected to be below RM10 - besides the moratorium will be given throughout the initial registration period.
There is no vehicle inspection as required for cars. The Minister of Transport also emphasized that this matter will not burden service riders.
For now, it is still in the process of being involved, and it is not yet known when it will be enforced.
