(Rumble) Huawei Mate 50 May Use Snapdragon 888 4G Chip

The Huawei Mate series focuses on comprehensive device capabilities, it includes better internal hardware capabilities in addition to advanced camera capabilities. Speaking more about it, Huawei will come with an updated model for the series which is likely to arrive around September.

According to initial expectations, it is likely that there will be three different models that will be announced. One of them is the Huawei Mate 50 which is believed to use the Snapdragon 888 chip but only supports 4G networks. This seems to be different from previous speculations which said the Mate 50 will be equipped with a Kirin 9000S chip which has not yet been announced.

Apart from that, the Huawei Mate 50 is also expected to use an OLED FHD+ panel (2400 X 1225 pixels) with a screen size between 6.28-inches or 6.38-inches. The screen is a BOE release that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Next, a memory of 8GB RAM and internal storage up to 256GB are also included.

A tri-camera system is also used with a 50MP main sensor. Huawei is also expected to include its own XMAGE imaging branding for its photography capabilities – replacing the previous Leica. Not to be left out, the device also runs Harmony OS 3.0 which is Huawei's latest standalone system.

For now, Huawei has not released any official statement regarding this claim. With that it is better if we consider the information shared is still at the level of uraura only.
