Samsung will launch two of their new foldable screen devices next week. In our report on this page, the two devices that will be launched may be Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 based on the naming of the previous devices.
But now it is rumored that the device will use the name Samsung Galaxy Flip4 and Samsung Galaxy Fold4 with the letter "Z" no longer included. No reason is given why this letter is no longer included but it is most likely because this letter was used as a symbol by the Russian army to invade Ukraine.
A few months ago the letter Z was removed from the advertising of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 devices in some Baltic markets for the same reason. So if these rumors come true it is not surprising at all.
