Researchers in South Korea are developing tattoo ink with the integration of nanotechnology, allowing it to be used for a number of things.
With the use of ink based on nanotechnology, it is said to be able to be connected with bio-sensors or any device, simultaneously sending health-related data and information – such as pulse, blood glucose levels, etc.
The ink is said to be developed using gallium-based particles, as well as carbon nanotubes that allow electricity to flow, as well as offer durability.
For now, it is still in the research stage. The scientists and researchers involved also aim to be able to integrate a wireless chip on it in the future to enable data and signals to be sent wirelessly to the nearest device.
