TSMC Will Start Producing Apple M2 Pro's 3nm Chips

TSMC was recently reported to be ready to start producing 3nm chips. Sources say Apple will be among the first to have 3nm chips produced by TSMC. Only after that other companies such as Super Micro, Huida, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom and others will produce their chips.

The chip that TSMC will produce for Apple is their Apple M2 Pro Silicon chip for what is expected to be the new Mac Mini, Mac Pro and possibly the new MacBook Pro. Apple is also expected to be present with some new M2 chips such as M2 Max and also M2 Extreme.

Not only that, sources also claim that Apple will use this 3nm technology on their A17 chip for use on the iPhone. For now, the details of the A17 are still not revealed, but for the M2 series - it is expected to arrive around the end of this year.
