Volkswagen Reveals V.MO Air Mobility Vehicle Design

 


In addition to building electric vehicles, the development of "flying cars" has also been hotly undertaken by various companies over the past decade. There is involvement from large companies such as Boeing and Airbus to offer electric air mobility vehicles in urban areas. China's Volkwagen Group this week unveiled its V.MO air mobility vehicle design, also nicknamed Flying Tiger.



The prototype shown is 11.2x 10.6 meters with eight vertical flight propellers and two pusher propellers for conventional horizontal flight. Flight tests will begin this year Volkswagen aims to be able to fly with four passengers with an operating range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge.
