Currently WhatsApp can be used on one mobile device and another on a computer using a web browser or desktop application. The latest WhatsApp Beta Info says that WhatsApp has started a test that allows the use of the application on two different mobile phones simultaneously.
This feature is enabled in the latest WhatsApp Beta through the existing multi-device feature. It is tested on Android and iOS versions of the app. With this feature the problem where WhatsApp can only be accessed on one mobile phone at a time will be solved. Since the feature is still in Beta, we can only guess when it will be made available to the public.
