Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 Rear Design Revealed With Leica Camera

This week seems to be the week devices with foldable screens are launched. Today Samsung will launch Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4, tomorrow Xiaomi with Mix Fold 2 and Motorola with Razr 2022.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is already rumored to have an ultra-thin design with a thickness around the size of the USB-C port. The device will also use a water drop folding technique hinge to ensure the screen has no obvious creases and the camera will use Leica technology.

In an ITHome report, they have found an image of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 that reveals the design of the back panel of the device through the Xiaomi Wallet app. This device is next to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and it is seen using a camera bump design similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra which is a square bump. There is one large visible main sensor which is paired with two other possible sensors for ultra wide angle and telephoto/periscope.

On this bump there are also two different flash leds and also a large Leica logo. From the side, this device looks very thin and very beautiful. The small power button may hint that this device will use an under-screen fingerprint scanner like the Vivo X Fold.

The launch of the device is tomorrow night, August 11 – let's all stay tuned for more information about it.
