Xiaomi today also launched their new tablet, the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro was already launched in August last year, but the model comes with an 11-inch screen. This new tablet comes with a bigger screen.
The screen is still a QHD 120Hz LCD panel, supports HDR 10 display and is powered by the same chip which is Snapdragon 870. The memory used is 6-12 GB RAM and internal storage reaches 512GB. The device also runs the Android 12-based MIUI Pad 13 operating system instead of the more tablet-friendly Android 12L. But this MIUI Pad 13 also comes with many new features and functions adapted for large screen use and multi-tasking.
The most obvious difference from previous tablets is the camera system. Where Xiaomi uses a camera module like the Xiaomi 12 with a grid arrangement. This tri-camera system combines a 50+2 Megapixel sensor and a 20MP selfie camera. The selfie camera is also optimized for teleconferencing use. For the battery it uses a capacity of 10,000mAh with 67W fast charging.
For audio, the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro uses a stereo system with Dolby Atmos support. Stylus support is also retained for writing or drawing use. Xiaomi also includes keyboard support like Apple's Magic Keyboard with Esc key support, can be connected to a computer or even directly connected to a monitor for better productivity. Support for direct connection to this monitor is enabled due to the use of USB-C 3.2 Gen 1.
The selling price for the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro is RMB 2,799 (~RM1,846) for 6/128 GB, RMB 3,299 (~RM2,176) for 8/256 GB and RMB 3,999 (~RM2,638) for 12 /512 GB. Like other products launched, this tablet is also exclusive for sale
