You Will Need to Request Administrator Approval If You Want to Join a WhatsApp Group

Recently, WhatsApp announced that they will offer three new privacy features, namely preventing screenshots in View Once, being able to control online status and also allowing users to leave WhatsApp Groups silently.

WhatsApp later also provided a feature to filter messages according to unread ones. Now, WABetaInfo discovered a new feature related to WhatsApp Group.

In the future, users will not be able to easily continue entering a WhatsApp Group. If you want to enter a WhatsApp Group by invitation or clicking on a link, the administrator needs to approve it first.

This means, the administrator can also reject the user's request to enter a WhatsApp Group. In the application, the WhatsApp Group settings section will have the Approve New Participant feature and it is expected that there will also be a section that lists the user's application to join the WhatsAPp Group.

This feature is still in testing, it was discovered through the WhatsApp app for Android version 2.22.18.9.
