Redmi not only sells smartphones, earphones and laptops, but they also have their own smart television offering. It is however limited to only a few markets at the moment, such as India and China.
Most recently, the Redmi Smart TV A65 2022 has been announced in China at RMB2,099, which is around RM1,382. For specifications, it uses a 65-inch 4K (3840 X 2160 pixels) LCD screen that displays DCI-P3 and HDR10 color settings. The screen-to-body ratio is 97.5% which is loaded in a metal type body.
Next, the Cortex A53 quad-core processor is paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The use of the Xiaomi TV Assistant application allows users to control this television using a smartphone. This includes voice control support, channel change, screen projection and installation of any application.
Two speaker units with 8W output and DTS support are also included with a sound algorithm developed by Xiaomi itself for a more immersive audio experience. For connectivity, it has an HDMI 2.1 port, two HDMI 2.0 ports, an AV port, two USB ports and an S/PDIF port.
